Room was comfortable, clean with necessary amenities and comfy beds (I had two single beds pushed together). For a solo traveller the room was a good size but for two people It would be a little bit of a squeeze. It has a great location with a supermarket and restaurants just a few steps away and the bus stop is just across the street. Easy check in and check out, even if you arrive after and leave before the reception is staffed like I did and the communication from the hotel regarding this is very swift. It was all I needed.

- The owners were really understanding about our late flight and both us and another group were checked in very efficiently after 1am. - The location is only 1.1km walk from BSí bus stop where the main airport shuttle stops - There is a kebab shop downstairs open until 2am, sometimes 4am, and a 24/7 supermarket in the next building if you arrive late - There is a communal food zone where other travellers share their food before they go. - The room, even though with shared bathroom still had a sink in it meaning we didn't have to leave just to brush teeth or get a glass of water.

Clean guesthouse, with shared kitchen, shared bathroom and shared showers, everything clean. Location was great, it is right next to Laugavegur shopping street, 9 min walking to Hallgrímskirkja church and 20 min walking to BSÍ Bus Terminal (where you can take buses to the airport).

It was a basic room with shared toilet and showers that were fine. It was great to have the use of a full kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave. Conveniently located near pickup bus stop #9 for tours and Flybus. An all-night convenience store was 1/2 block away, so I could get my morning coffee and fruit and yoghurt before I left for my early morning tours. They were very accommodating to hold my luggage before my bus picked me up for the airport.

We stayed in different rooms due to lack of space during our dates. First was a twin room with private bath. It was on the street side, and my friend couldn't sleep due to street/party noise. This was the summer and daylight all the time. I never have a problem sleeping (mask, ear plugs) so didn't bother me a bit. Room was clean, beds comfy, was able to keep our luggage in their store room until room was available, staff were friendly and polite. Did not eat the breakfast there, as there is a great coffee house with bagels around the corner! (Wake & Bake) Hotels are very expensive in Reykavik, and this small guesthouse is a good place to stay.

It's a basic hotel, but it has everything a visitor to Reykjavik would need. Many restaurants and shops nearby, including one food court. Walking distance to most of attractions, and very close (5 minutes walk) to Bus Stop #12 where many tours around Iceland start from. The room is relatively small, but it had a nice bathroom, wardrobe, desk, small fridge and water kettle. Beds were comfy as well.

Good value for the price. We needed a room for three adults and found one at 101 Hostel for a great rate by Reykjavik standards. The room was clean, and while the bed was a bit soft, it was perfectly fine for a one-night stay. The location is excellent, with plenty of showers and toilets on the floor. The shared kitchen wasn’t as well-equipped as in some other Reykjavik hostels we’ve stayed at, but it had everything necessary to prepare a simple dinner.

I loved the location (at the corner of the main tourist drag Laugavegur and right across the street from one of the designated stops for all tourist and airport busses (Bus stop 9)) and the friendliness of staff. I liked the hassle free checkin in the middle of the night when I arrived, the free luggage storage on my departure day and the fact that the staff let me stay in the kitchen until my airport bus arrived. I also liked the fact that there is a shared kitchen with all necessary facilities. I booked a room with shared bathroom, but the room had a sink, which was nice. The room was warm, comfy and clean.

Although the toilets and kitchen are shared with the others, there were no problems or queues. Everything is clean and reliable. It is convenient to have a private sink in the room and the rooms are spacious enough. The location is very good, 20 minutes from the bus station.
